We definitely have entered a deep freeze where I live. We got about an inch of snow yesterday, and then an arctic blast. The sun's out today, but the temp. is just 5 degrees F. Nice to look at through the window - not so nice to be out in it.

Oh, I'm such a wimp here on the California coast. Last night it got into the 30's and today it won't get out of the 50's. I know, I know ... but ...

I have a truly nasty cold. Hoping it clears by Christmas.

Do wish we got snow sometimes though - I miss that!

Went to make coffee this morning...had to wait a couple hours until the pipes thawed out. Usually this time of the year I leave a faucet dripping in the bathtub. Glad it doesn't snow here...I don't much care for snow.

Was 76 degrees yesterday, expecting a high of 34 today but not there yet. Cold again tonight and tomorrow night but then warming back up. As usual our precipitation seldom comes with colder temperatures, maybe we will get lucky and have a day or two of snow this winter.

We had about 2" of snow yesterday and then it got cold. This morning when I got up it was -2 F. I waited till it warmed up to +7degrees to shovel the driveway and walks....it was a refreshing workout...

Hope all here take care in the bad weather....

I really do wish I was somewhere else 'diving'...in 80 degree water....!

Why dont you all just move to where its warmer then you can stop whimpering.

I guess you need something to whimper about so you stay where its cold.

Non sequitur. You didn't answer the question: How Cold Is It? All you did was whine about people whimpering!

I like to whimper to so here it goes....

Saturday morning I think we set a record low, it was -22 with a windchill -35 and about 4" of fresh snow. I have a new snowblower I've only used once and am dying to use but that couldn't even drag me out that day. I waited until Sunday when it got up to 12 and sunny.

Suppose to be 42 today and like that most of the week.

End of whimper.....
