Just doing physical therapy exercises until my feet are fixed. The arch supports I bought make one foot happy, but the other foot is screaming, so I guess I'm going to have to go for the custom ones, dang it.

5 miles increased cadence. beginning to feel 4 min miles real possibility on trainer. same gear as i have been using, increased aerobic utilization as per recommendations. spinner-not a masher. long way to go yet to be able to carry 90- 100 rpm over distance. well, i have time - or nothing.

I didn't focus on specific exercise time this weekend, but I did get a chance to take a quick roadtrip down to North Padre Island with my daughter and grandson. I also quickly remembered how difficult it can be to walk in deep sand, so it FELT like I got a workout in!

Walking the porch during the rain yesterday afternoon. 3 major efforts, the last being around the pond and pasture just before dark. The Fitbit only showed 30,599, either way, a bunch of steps.

Get 're done!!

At 13,700 steps today, but not going to get much more. Watching NCAA March Madness championship game.

Also put in a 18.2 mile bike ride to get some of the kinks out from yesterdays walking. I think turning around to come home in a strong headwind put a few new kinks in. It has been a while since I last rode my bike.

Maybe, maybe not. But if you talked much at work in the past, you could find a way to bring up something in conversation to see if he is over the initial shock of being diagnosed and wanting to know more. I think the sooner someone gets curious, the more likely they will be interested in finding out more.

It seems that the diabetics I know at work are less interested in what I am doing for my diabetes than the "as of yet undiagnosed" (normal) ones. They were diagnosed before I was and they never talked about it before. They only seem to be interested in following their doctors recommendations.

Only got my steps goal in for the day Tuesday, 12,000.
