Hi The number of flights of stairs you do regularly is really impressive. Do you ever have knee problems?
If I did 27 flights of stairs, I would be on the couch for two days with my ice pack.

Way to go.

I work in a paper mill power plant and have lots of opportunity to walk stairs vs take the elevator. We have 3 elevators at different places in the department but you can't always get where you need to go on an elevator. I just opt not to ride the majority of the time. My office is on the third floor so I get some stairs in right off the bat. I also have a golf cart I can use, butI try to walk everywhere unless there is a reason to get somewhere quick.

I've been fortunate in not having issues with the stairs causing knee problems, even though have I injured both knees growing up and had to have surgery on one of them. Most people that I know that have issues say that going down the stairs is much rougher on them than going up the stairs.

Mainly still concentrating on getting daily steps in. Have missed a couple of great opportunities to get a ride in, but will get back in the saddle soon I hope.

my days off rotate every 4 months. i'll be getting tues and wed off the next 4. from days to afternoons. they let me out for sleep release. 5.5 mi. last night. i think i have all of my wood in for next winter 2 months ahead of schedule. if it ever dries out its plowing. meantime i think i should start on goat fence and immediate pasture. trying to get a deal on disc harrow and find good forage seed mix.

I'm not from the country, but I do like watching shows that have goats in them. The kids are so cute, and the owners seem to bond with the does.

I've seen several Utube segments (and TV shows - "Unlikely Animal Friends") where a goat was put in an enclosure with another animal, usually a young one, to help nurture them. They would become pals for life. One such animal was a rino.

went more for mid-foot on pedal axis. i now haven't the inside knee muscle pain. maybe caused from tiring calve muscles. adjusted the seat height twice handlebars once 11 miles later feels very good and seems easier to hold the pace. found it easier to crank sitting without hands on bars.
