Right now I'm exercising my abs by coughing! Hopefully will be able to do another form of exercise soon...

LOL, hopefully the new form is not initiated from a different illness.

Although yesterday was a very busy day at work, a lot of it required more time in the office and on the computer than I like, and I didn't reach my step goal while at work. Getting home last night, I took everything out of my work clothes and put it all on the counter and the clothes went into the laundry basket. After eating supper, I got up and started walking to finish getting my steps in for the day, I was walking in the house because it was about to storm at any minute. When the Garmin tracker vibrated on my wrist to tell me I had made my goal, I checked the Fitbit app on my phone to see if I needed anymore steps to meet my goal on it. Hmmm, not updating, did my Fitbit battery run down I wondered as I rounded the dining table. Nope is the answer as I see my Fitbit laying on the countertop with all the other stuff I put there when I got home.

Lazy morning, got less than half my steps before supper time. Finished up just a few minutes ago.

Started 3 nights of graveyard yesterday, got my step goal in before midnight. I'm gonna have to play catch up this evening, because after midnight I didn't get me to the halfway point for today.

I was a 135 lb., very skinny, non-muscular, senior in high school. I don't think I can get back to that without loosing a lot of muscle. I have no idea where my old football jersey or jacket ended up.

I normally ride a stationary bike each day for exercise. I ran when I was in my 20's but I can not do this anymore due to some knee problems. I try to get in 2 20 min. sessions each day. According to the bike's odometer, that is about 5 miles each twenty min session so 10 miles a day. I do not know if the bike's odometer is correct or not. The sessions are at a very moderate pace. I don't sweat much or breathe hard. I use to do a little HIIT about once a week but I quit doing that bc it rev's up my anxiety. I have a horrible anxiety disorder, have been on benzos for 30 years and have become tolerant to the drugs, so I am trying to stop the drugs and the withdrawal has been a nightmare. I find that a gentle to moderate pace on the bike is the best for now until I see if I can manage without the psych drugs.

I find riding my bike reduces stress and anxiety. I haven't ridden in about 3 months, so it may be time to take advantage of the next pretty day because it has been a pretty stressful month at work.

Still making my daily steps goal.
