Yesterday I rode to Indian Rocks, and that was about 20 miles one way, for a 40 mile trip.

Today, I made it to 70th Ave & 70th St; I got happy or something, and rode past my original goal. So, I turned around at a point that was easy to remember.

If I had any sense, I would declare a truce with myself, and go home. But that ain't gonna happen; so I will keep going for as long as I can.

I'm 63. I've gotten out of biking shape and I could really feel it last night. This morning I could have gone again though.
My 40 miler is a killer, it is all through city traffic; and it can be horrific, in the summertime; and it is finally cooling off, Thank God!

I have to take a dose of salt, while I riding it, if it is hot weather. I have cramped up from the heat more than once.

The one solace that I can look forward to, is that the Gulf Of Mexico is right here, and the beaches are great.

I will be 63 soon myself, and if I live to see Summer; I am going into the water, a dozen times or more, during the hot months.

I couldn't ride yesterday morning when the sun was shining and in the low 50s, then when I was able it had started raining again. I did wait it out and was able to get out a little before dark. I got in 10 1/2 miles, I would have gone longer but was not really dressed for the cooler weather after dark.

Averaged a little less than 7000 steps per day for the last 7 days.

Back to work on days yesterday and I got 12,140 steps and 38 floors. Going to try to do a little better today if it's not raining out.

Just checked my automated step challenges on my Garmin, in the past month my activity level has lowered me from 90,000 steps a week challenges to 60,000 steps and now this week it is at the 30,000 steps challenges. I got to do better. It's "Game On"

I've only made my step goal 3 days this week. Made less than 400 steps yesterday. Spent too much time on the computer and nothing accomplished even doing that. I should have spent a third of that time outside doing something. With the cooler weather I should start walking stairs to be walking stairs. Tonight would be a good night to start.
