Having lived in more humid climes, I've gotta give you that one.

But at around -25 or -30 F, it doesn't matter how much or how little humidity is in the air; it's just plain $%^& cold.

My ipod tracks my walking by miles and it also records my steps. I'd rather have a watch that did that, but I'm fine with carrying it in my pocket.

I'm venting now.

I have a real problem with my blood sugar dropping while I'm out walking. Today for instance, I was 130 before lunch (due to an over-correction of a low this morning). I took novalog, ate lunch, and then went out for a walk. Within 20 minutes my Dexcom was buzzing that I was in the 50s.

I suppose I could just take fewer units, but I usually walk on a whim and not on any schedule. It's frustrating.

11,580 steps today
3rd day in a row that I've hit my 10,000 step goal.
I have no idea whether my Fitbit is accurate or not?

3 mile run. I started at 135 so I drank a glass of orange juice. Finished the run at 285 but the pump correction got me back down to 150 not long after.

Only 3100 steps yesterday, but good for the weekend
I spent a lot of the day with appliance installers.

A great day to clear 4-5 inches of snow before the polar vortex arrives (predicted air temp by Wednesday a.m. is between -25 and -30 [which is almost the same in degrees F as it is in C at that point]); wind chill temp may dip down to -50 F. Just shy of 7,000 steps just in snow-clearing.
