VeeJay.... I'm sure we've crossed paths numbers of times in different forums but have head fog currently

I'm actively doing support work for people with diabetes (mostly children, although willing to help anyone who is willing to do the work to help themselves gain good as good control as they are able)

I've written two books for children, with a third on the way.

Working as computing programmer - would love to design and write a computer based teaching tool to help test/educate diabetes living techniques, carb counting, foot care, test taking, etc.

I like to crochet and cross-stitch, but right now I have start playing with adult coloring books. I first started doing them when my Mom was in ICU last year after an aneurysm. One of the nurses brought me one and a package of coloring pencils the first night to help me calm down some. I was by myself that night, and it really helped me.

This is fun! Well, I'm still working. I hope to retire in about 4-5 years. I am single. I get together with my siblings most Fridays. I have a handful of good friends that I trust with my life. I have other social friends that I go out to dinner and movies.

I still hang around with people from high school! About 2 years ago, my parochial school teacher passed away, so I was reunited with classmates from my school that I hadn't seen since 1971! Ever since my teacher's funeral, we have managed to get together from time to time.

I like just about all kinds of music except hard rap. I do like me some Justin Timberlake and Kanye. I love classical and disco. Yep, disco, but I'm a classic rock girl. I like anything with peace signs

My hobbies include making stretchy bracelets and writing.
