So today for dinner, after having a low BF, I decided I would try a very small portion of spaghetti. Well I have made bad choices before, and it's no different this time. I had a spike of about 148, the highest I have been in close a week. So I guess now I know, no more spaghetti.

Sometimes we just have to see for ourselves. It's also a reinforcement of why one is eliminating certain foods in the first place.

Girl, I'm with you. I'm new to diabetes (May 2017). I've learned so much from these wonderful people. I call them my support group.

The other day, I ordered chicken breast from KFC and green beans. I peeled the skin...yeah, right. I had a major spike! For some reason, that particular KFC doesn't serve grilled/baked.

I'm cooking more so I don't have to wonder what to eat during lunch breaks at work. However, for the days I "forget," there is a McD's close by, and I order the Artisan Grilled Chicken sandwich sans the bun with a side salad vice the fries. They already know me .

Have you tried this? The carbs are the same as spaghetti, though the fiber subtraction slashes them from 17 to 5 for a 2-oz serving. Net carbs hasn't always worked out well for me, but I'm ordering a single box and will try them.

Thanks!
