Default I can do it

I have been stayin at a resort since Monday. Busy with a conference, and enjoying myself. I have low carb snacks in my room. Visit the gym to walk and bike as much as possible, I try to walk 1-3 miles a day and bike 2-5. This is by doing 2-3 trips a day. I have been eating out, 3 meals a day, and doing great. My FBG was 130 this morning, but in my free time yesterday, I spend a lot of time in the jacuzzi and sauna. I'm thinking I was dehydrated. The rest of the mornings have been great, always close to 100 and 2 days below. Random checks were alway below 110. I have hope this can be done.

Cricket and hftmrock like this.

You're doing great. Sounds like you're taking advantage of the resort.

I have read that some find their BG raises after a hot shower. Perhaps the jacuzzi and sauna have the same effect. Obviously it's only temporary.

I did check it out, and the heat kinda dehydrates ya, so it does go up. I went back the next day, and sipped water the whole time I was in, and no BG rise.
