Default Bad days

We all have good days and bad days, and having high blood sugar does not help. My BS ( with my old meter) has not been below 120 for 24 hours. Today I have had brain fog, and just sluggish, when I got home I fell asleep, for a couple hours. And now I feel better, but have no stamina. I have been walking 1.5 miles 2 times a day on the treadmill, and it took everything I had to do .25 miles just now. Is this something I should expect? When I woke up my BG was 110. I have had these day before and it has been followed by new lows and trends in my numbers.

On the surface, it doesn't look like a BG issue. Have you been getting enough sleep and sleeping through the night?

Keep in mind that I am not a doctor. I don't even play one on the Internet but I am wondering if your electrolytes are a bit messed up. Do you take any supplements?

My son started a new job, so no to sleeping through the night. His first job 6 days a week and 56-60+ hours. I'm feeling the empty nest syndrome. No I don't take any kind of supplements, every time I do it ends up with higher number. What kinds should I be taking? I have woke up very dry mouth the last few mornings.

One that a lot of LCHF people take is Magnesium. (I take Magnesium Malate.)

Make sure you are drinking enough water too.

I'll try the magnesium, can't hurt, and as far as water oh yeah lots at least 5-6 16 oz bottles and at least 7- 32 oz more on the weekends. Read somewhere you should drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water. I'm way above that.
