Things I learned about myself while spending time outdoors this last week.

1. My resting heart rate is lower.
2. My sleep is more restful.
3. My blood sugar is lower.
4. I am much more active.
5. I am more at peace.
6. I need to spend more time in nature.

It's a shame you have to go back to work.

When a diabetic can manage both their diet/carb intake, keep their stress levels low, and be active, it feels like the diabetes is dormant or asleep. The key is to not awake the lion
