My fitness goal is to not forget to use my Health Rider. It's set up in the living room, with a view of the TV, within arms reach of the radio. I don't even get in anyone's way. I conveniently don't think about it. Oooops! :P

I said this last year at around this time but it didn't happen, mainly because the winter weather was uncooperative but I gotta start snowshoeing or cross country skiing this winter.
I'm an extremely active person in the Spring, Summer and Fall - but the winter ... not so much.

I have to figure that out...

It's not going to be as easy as it was in summer/fall when I could just slip outside and mow the lawn, weed the garden, walk the dog. Even walking is both unsatisfying and a little dangerous because so many people don't do well clearing their sidewalks. I had looked into some of those strap-on shoe cleats; might be time to pick up a pair of those.

Puttering around the house and shoveling snow is good, but it's not going to do the entire job.

I am going skiing in Colorado for the first time in 30+ years in 2018! My goal is to survive this without any injuries.....if I do, we hope to make it an annual trip!

My wife and I both grew up in Colorado, and with raising kids and job challenges we just gave up skiing. Now that we are retired, we want to Ski again....

Wish us luck....

Good luck, div!

When I first moved to this part of the country, I used to ski cross-country. Not sure when or why I stopped, but I did. I should look up where I could go to ski again -- and find out if my wife would join me. I can hear the muscles and joints complaining already...

I am an old guy, now at 67, but we will do it anyway! You should also...your wife might love the skiing but may love what it does for you more....!

Time is short...enjoy!

I plan on riding my bike more and not see it impact getting steps in every day. IF possible work on rotator cup strengthening and hitting the weights.

Well I can't do any more than I am doing. Cardio in the morning, walking 15 miles a day as a Letter Carrier and Martial Arts in the evening. But there's always room for improvement

Lose a minimum of a pound a week up to a maximum of 90 lbs and be athletic again.
