I use to go musky fishing when I lived in Northern Ontario - it's pretty exciting because usually, if you're spin casting - the fish will follow the lure right to the boat (or in my case canoe) and strike the lure it right before your eyes.

I miss those days ...

I love just about anything in nature, especially camping.

These Tiger Muskies are a hybrid between a muskie and a northern pike and they are all sterile. They get very big and they have to be released if they are under 40 inches. I know just what you mean about them following your lure or fly right to you. I've seen them a number of times. I haven't fished for them in the past couple of years but I'm looking forward to getting after them this year. My wife has even caught a few. Here she is with a smallish one she caught......

I'm with you. My parents both enjoyed camping. Some of my earliest memories are of us camping near some lake or stream in Northern NM or Colorado. Most of our vacations involved Camping/fishing/hunting/hiking/exploring/or observing wildlife. My father also taught me a lot about mines and mining, how to find old Indian camp sights, stalking game/birds, navigation using sun and stars, marksmanship with both rifles/handguns but also archery tackle, and lots of other outdoors stuff. But I find it just as much fun to sit on the front porch @ our cabin with a nice hot cup of Java and enjoy watching the birds, deer, and other wildlife that hangs around our cabin. Now that's livin....

I'm a musician. From age 4, I was considered a "child prodigy" & had the piano shoved down my throat. At age 16, I wanted to do something else. For many years, I was a competitive shooter & instructor. I'm retired & have some free time now & enjoy playing for recreation.

Okay Guys,
I usually don't talk about this but ... I used to be a dinosaur hunter. I was lucky, the shock must of sharply raised my BG levels as the T Rex decided not to eat me. I was just too sweet.
Actually this is in Quebec Canada at a Gas station just off the main highway. I seemed to draw a lot of attention. It was like the locals had never seen a tourist before.

Mine is Home renovations. Bought our house new 15 years ago, started renos the following year and havent stopped. Latest project was a major kitchen overhaul. But we've also added a dog room, covered deck, spa tub in the bathroom (had to knock out a closet) , finished the basement and built a garage.
