LOL.....I feel brightened already.......

Of course that might also be because I only have 22 days left until I RETIRE......

I filed for retirement about 2 weeks ago, my body is getting pretty used up, and I don't have much stamina now.

A lot of interesting people on here....

I was raised in Colorado and therefore learned to trout fish at a very young age. Camping was all we did growing up, still love to do it, but we also rent a cabin at times.

So my current hobbies are....

Fishing...all kinds as I also lived where I learned to fish for bass, crappie, and catfish. I also fished for Red Fish, Tuna, Dolphin and Blue Fish. Also fished in Canada....Muskies, Pike, Small Mouths, Walleye

Hunting...for birds, Ducks, Geese, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Dove....

Training and Hunting with my Golden Retrievers...

Then in my spare time.....

Gardening, Water Color Painting, Oil Painting, Playing Guitar, Playing Banjo (learning now)….

Finally, we travel a lot....seeing new places is really fun when you are retired!

I like to go for a walk in the evenings then read for a bit before I go to bed. I also like to crochet during the winter. Going to put my crochet stuff away for now and get out my cross stitch items so that I don't smother to death under the yarn.

It is with me, I intend to start trying coffee from around the world. I had a bag of Starbucks "African Something"; a long time ago, and it was great. I am going to gather my pennies if I can, and get the best coffee that I can.

When people can spend $200-300 a pound for certain varieties of coffee, hundreds of dollars for grinders, and thousands for coffeemakers, yeah, it's a hobby!

I'm more of a coffee snob than that but I don't buy coffee that costs even $20 a pound. And I hesitate to say how old my (cheapish) coffeemaker is...
