I was never ever a fan of country music, and the music I loved as a teenager leaves me pretty cold these days. Instead, I have become my mother, and tend to prefer classical, or more modern music performed on classical instruments. I also love great harmonies and pretty much any music that will bring a tear to my eye.

Examples:
The Piano Guys

Pentatonix, my favourite A Capella group

John Williams, classical guitarist and composer, playing Cavatina

etherea likes this.

Pentatonix is from my area. I only like one of their songs though.......I'm not a big fan of that type of non-musical music.

This one has a little bit of electronic music in the background...

If you like classical instruments and pop music.......these guys are pretty wild......

It's weird though.........this is the stuff i dreamed of doing when I was in 5th grade, back in 1973. If I had any inkling it would be a "thing" and could make money at it, I would have continued on with my cello.

It's "that time of year" again.

I'm not big on C'mas, since I worked in retail and have seen the true demons it brings out in people, I really don't care for it. Some of the music is nice though.

I don't know why this song is my favorite, but it always has been, ever since I heard it when I was little.

Whats your favorite holiday song/video?

Although I'm a "Disco Baby" and will always be one, I like lots of different kinds of music. For the past several years I've been listening to ambient music of all types. It keeps me calm, it helps with anxiety and depression, and it helps with coping in general.

Some of my favs are:
