Default Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween folks,

Halloween was always a big deal for me as it was one of the few times of the year my parents let me eat candy - mind you in moderation - but allow me to eat it guilt free.

Being a little kid that was a big deal - being able to eat candy like any non diabetic kid.

I must say - my parents did a good job of raising a child with diabetes. Now that we live in an isolated rural area we don't get any trick or treaters so we don't bother buying any candy.

Just as well as the temptation will not be there to eat it later tonight :-)

That's why we bought stuff we didn't particularly like. Reduced the temptation that much more...

Happy Halloween!
