My rant of the day...

When 1 + 1 = whatever the heck it wants but definitely not 2.

It's Spring and with it lovely weather. I spent the last few weeks watering and babying a 10'x25' reseeded area of the lawn. The rest of the lawn is in poor shape but with some fertilizer and regular watering I'm hoping it'll come back to health.

I lost the whole of last spring and summer recovering from shoulder replacement surgery. And the lawn lost its vigor as a result of total neglect. The wild violets are doing very well, though.

It feels good to be outside doing some gardening again.

I've drifted slightly away from OMAD and have been snacking some. I wish I had taken a picture of a piece of celery I had the other day with some peanut butter. The celery had two little stems sticking off of each side of the main stalk and it looked like it was doing a "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" pose, I immediately thought of it as something a celery stalk might do when seeing a Vegan. It was one of those moments!!! LOL

My husband and I are flying to Albuquerque tonight for a two week vacation across New Mexico. I'm hoping I can find food that is acceptable, meaning non-Mexican type food.

I amazed how mainstream the KETO lifestyle has become.

In the grocery store tonight, I was reaching for Rebel ice-cream. (6 net carbs for a pint) and a man standing behind me said just one word. KETO?

In the checkout line, as the cashier was scanning my groceries, she grinned at me and said one word. KETO?

I think the word is out...

Keto is "having a moment", as they say. Good for us! It makes it easier to buy groceries, eat at restaurants, and explain to others how and why we're eating the way we do. There still is some misinformation about the WoE out there, but it's nice to not feel quite so far away from the mainstream.

I called the Psychic Hotline Network for a reading.

The lady said, "I see a really big phone bill in your future."
