Default "The Big Game" -- how did you handle the menu?

Kind of a snooze-fest of a game, IMHO, and few of the ads really did it for me. That's the kind of boredom that has me looking in the refrigerator more than I ought to. But I think we did OK:

Ribs, non-sugared rub, no barbecue sauce for me
A little side salad of arugula with a splash of olive oil and vinegar
Frozen jalapeño poppers (me alone; DW does not eat hot peppers)
Two squares of 85% dark chocolate
DW augmented her menu with Cheetos; zero interest in that for me

How'd everyone else do?

Now with less sugar!

A1c 10-30-2018 still 5.6 with no meds. Thank you LCHF!

I had the same idea for a new thread you did, so I just moved my post to your thread. It was a lackluster game and even more so of a halftime show. I was on my bike on the trainer for half time. I had chicken thighs on the smoker, didn't get them thawed soon enough to have them ready until after the game.

I wasn't planning on watching the game, but I did and I had a low carb beer and some mixed nuts. Maybe I'll get some ideas from here for next year.

Think I've had this since 2003. Told I was Type 2 lean on 2/13/12.

After a lifetime of enjoying professional football and being an avid Bronco fan, I gave up watching the NFL when many other American did! I won't expand on this to avoid any political comments.

So eating and watching a Super Bowl is no longer on my menu....although I enjoy college and high school football...I do not miss the NFL at all!

I wasn't cheering on any particular team - I just wanted to watch good football - some of the Defensive plays were worth noting but overall - that was a pretty boring game and half show.

No snacks or spirits ...

I don’t watch any type of sports. It was just a normal Sunday for me.
