I buy mine from a place called Lauren's Hope. They have all sorts from very fancy to very plain. They also sell the plates and you can get up to 5 lines engraved on it. I have about 4 different bracelets and just switch the plate.

I've had several different ones over the years, but the best one I've had (and still have now) is a sterling silver one that I bought at a local jewelry store. I like the style and the silver doesn't react to my skin like the "official" medical bracelets I've seen for sale by mail order.

I had my medical alert bracelet tatooed on my wrist- for penicillan. works great and noticable. dont need to worry about ever having to replace it- lol. i have never had a tatoo before and recommend it for those who need to have a medic alert notice all the time.
