Progress, SHC! Be a shame to undo some of your progress, though, with the smokes. Hang in there!

Iíll be dropping it again Iím sure. This really drove home how much extra money I had while I wasnít smoking. I was stressed and scared as hell and surrounded by my boys who were also stressed and smoking like chimneys. Of course none of us were allowed inside because of covid.

The paramedics initially thought my wife had a heart attack. Turned out much different but much better. She had a severe ulcer that ruptured and caused some sudden severe inflammation, pushing the top of her stomach against her diaphragm, making it almost impossible to breathe and causing cramps all over her upper body and neck area.

They pumped her full of strong anti inflammatory meds and now sheís on some other medication to manage this new issue. Sheís never had any symptoms of ulcers, so it was a surprise to us all.

mbuster and kyteflyer like this.

Wow, SHC, yeah, under those circumstances I'd be reaching for something that made me feel better even if it wasn't good for me. That's scary! All the more so because you get to sit out in the parking lot and think. I'm glad your wife is on the mend.

Sheís doing pretty good really. She feels a bit nauseous after eating but thatís about the only lingering problem.
