Default Glyburide (oral stimulant) decrease production?

Does Glyburide, as a pancreatic stimulant, inevitably lead to reduced beta cell production and therefore loss of insulin production? (This without regard to other variables such as age/diet/exercise etc) Any studies that show this to be true/false? I am looking for empirical data or studies

Thank you.
