Default Glucose meter without Bluetooth or data port

Does anyone know of any meters that do not have Bluetooth or a data port?

There are many. It's the strips that are the most costly part of testing, so if that's an issue, then the least expensive meter and strips would be the Relion brand from Walmart. Most drug stores carry other brands. I am currently using Contour next EZ, by Bayer, and buy the strips from Amazon.

I'm really not concerned with the price of the strips so much as I am that the meter has neither Bluetooth or a data port (which doesn't really make sense, I know). I've been having a hard time finding one but I hear the Bayer Contour doesn't have either so I ordered one. Hopefully it works for me

FDA mandates that all currently manufactured blood glucose monitors must have some kind of dataport (ability for the doctor to download data from the device). They do not mandate what kind. Neither the Bayer Contour Next EZ nor the Accucheck Aviva have a data port accessible by the home user. Both require proprietary cords which apparently are only sold with their software or provided to medical folks. You can buy a cord for the Bayer on Ebay, but I haven't seen one for the Aviva. Also, neither of them use bluetooth.

Just be aware that in using the Contour Next EZ, it only holds up to 400 tests and then starts knocking them off.

For the meters, The Bayer has a round open access port on the side of the unit. The Accu-Check apparently is accessed via the same part where you put the strip.
