Shanny I usually shop at WalMart, and the last two or three times I have stood there in the pickle aisle and looked and looked all over it, and cannot find any. I remember at a different store, not in this area, I used to find them in the refrigerated produce area. I'll keep looking though I especially like them for making my own tartar sauce for fish.

We polished off the green olive chicken tonight . . . I snipped a coupla strips of bacon into pieces & laid 'em in the bottom of a baking dish. Rinsed off a bag of Miracle Rice & mixed it in with the olive/caper drippings from last night, and then diced the rest of the chicken into bitesize pieces. Let it all warm up & blend flavors until the bacon was cooked & we thought it was better than the first time around! Whatta great dish! Just wait'll I spring this on some of the kids!

This was really yummy!! I used thighs with the skin on and crisped the skins really well before adding the other ingredients. Looking forward to some great leftovers too!!

I've had lots of chicken but this looks to be a new family fave.

This looks really good. I'm not overly fond of green olives, but at an Italian restaurant I do like one of their chicken dishes that have green olives in it. It seems to go well with the sauce. So I expect it'll be the same with this dish.

Shanny, your leftover concoction looks good, too.

Might be a good New Years dish.

Try Costco.. I bought some there recently. Found them with the spices, but could be in the pickle section too...lol

My family doesn't like green olives but we do like black olives and I have a large can of those.
Walmart usually carries capers. They move em around a lot like everything else. Sometimes they're on the top shelf in pickle aisle. Sometimes in spice aisle. Sometimes in ethnic aisle, especially by the kosher products. But for some reason they're nearly always on top shelf.
