Default Tarter Sauce

I loved fried fish.. with low carb breading now of course. Here is my recipe for tarter sauce.

1 cup mayo
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp diced dill pickles (more if you like)
1 tbsp finely diced onions
cracked pepper to taste

It tastes a bit better if made a day in advance so flavors can blend.

That's basically how I make mine too, Janice . . . we do love our fried fish! I buy dill relish to save having to chop up dill pickles.

I admit that I am a pickle snob and only eat baby dills, the crunchier the better.

Yum! I have tonight's dinner planned but tomorrow I'm frying some fish!! Almond flour and WPI 8000 (1:1) plus whatever seasonings, makes a dynamite coating. I better make some tarter sauce tonight!

Not really liking fried fish I've always bought it, so thanks Janice! However it is a good spread for other things. I'm so glad you posted it.
