Default Caramel Fatbomb Revisited

And revised a bit.

I really like the original caramel fatbomb, and my accidental modification of it. Today I decided to deliberately modify it some more.

1 stick of butter
1/4C peanut butter (I use Smuckers Natural)
4oz dark chocolate
1/2C heavy cream
1/4C granulated splenda
1 lg egg
1/2C pecan halves

melt together butter, peanut butter, chocolate
heat until just below boiling point

mix together cream, egg, splenda
add to melted butter mix
heat until barely boiling, stirring constantly, keep heating until thickened
spread half the pecan halves on bottom of large flat soupbowl, pour thickened mixture over top, put in freezer (about 5minutes) when top is firm spread remaining pecans on top, and put in refridgerator till cooled through

full recipie: 2730 calories, 265g fat, 64g carbohydrate, 30g protein.
1/8th bowl serving, 341 calories, 33.125g fat, 8g carb, 3.75g protein.

Wonderful chocolately peanutbuttery flavor, thick puddinglike texture.

Patdart, Gizmo, Daytona and 2 others like this.

Thumbs up

I've GOT to try this out. Only have to buy the dark chocolate. I have everything else.

Thanks so much for posting this!
