Default fat bomb hot cocoa ...

I do not know the % fat this is but:

2 TBS cocoa powder (other people make faces at this, you might start with 1 TBS)
1 TBS erythritol (finely ground is best, I use my Mr. Coffee grinder)
1 c cream
1 drop vanilla (more to taste of course).

Put cocoa and eryth in cup, add 2 TBS cream and stir well to make a paste. Make sure you get all the cocoa off the bottom. Slowly add more cream, stirring, to fill the cup. Keep scraping that bottom! Add the drop or so of vanilla.

Nuke as appropriate, 1 - 2minutes.

That sounds yummy!! By my "eyeball" count, I think that is somewhere in the 80+ grams of fat per serving w/HWC.

I got in a big toot a few nights ago - when we were still in the deepfreeze - not wanting to wait to blend the cocoa/sweetener, so I stirred a big glug of Walden Farms chocolate syrup into big mugs of HWC. The syrup was sweet enough I didn't need additional sweetening & two minutes per cup in the micro was all it took. Yummm!

I know this is an old thread, but I have been craving hot chocolate terribly lately. Do you think this would work with any non-dairy milk, since it worked with HWC? I was thinking of trying this with either soy milk or flax milk. thx.

Yes -- for more frequent consumption I have been making it by heating 1/4 c hwc, stirring the cocoa powder into a paste, then SLOWLY adding 3/4 c or so of coconut almond milk and heating.

I made it with dairy milk for my son this morning -- he LOVED it. Much better than the "mix" stuff.
