... and if you add some instant coffee crystals (the only reason I keep that stuff around), then you have quite a wonderful mocha candy

I take it that Splenda makes not only a sugar substitute but a syrup too? I've never seen it, but trust me, I'm gonna look!

Look for Torani or DaVinci flaovred SF syrups.

Look in the coffee section in the supermarket as they are often used for coffee flavorings, also check a liquor store. My local one carries a ton of both the sugar free and regular flavors. If you can't find any locally try netrition.com for either Da Vinci or Torani Syrups.

I'm a slow learner, but with addition of 2/3 c. chopped walnuts if I use 2/3 c. of the peanut butter, coconut oil, butter and other ingredients it will make enough to fill all 24 of the molds in my tray...

So you have made these without added sweetener? I think I will try it. I have everything but the two sweeteners

The last batch of fat bombs I made, a very similar recipe, (I used SF semi sweet choc chips instead of the square of chocolate), I forgot to add the sweetener. I actually like them as a variation as they are slightly on the salty side with a touch of sweet from the chips. A savory fat treat!

I was going to put the link to netrition.com for the choc chips, but they are backordered until the Fall of 3013!!

I made a new batch tonight and used 1/2 of the sweetener. I personally like them better. I am not much of a sweet eater. I wanted to add some pecans, walnuts and/or almonds but didn't get to it tonight. Maybe next time.
