Can anyone give me some brand names for erithritol. I'd love to try this recipe on DH and myself. I must stay on low carb diet to keep from becoming a porker.

I just buy it on Amazon or Netrition, searching for the name Erythritol. Some companies will tweak the ingredients a bit (adding other sweeteners or fiber) and then they change the name. For example ZSweet is Erythritol + "natural flavors", Truvia is Erythritol + Stevia, Swerve is Erythritol + oligosaccharides.

Actually I like Swerve the best for baking, the texture is better (not huge granules) and it has less of a cooling effect on the tongue.

Now Foods is the most commonly-seen. You can get it off Amazon, Netrition, or Google will show other places.

Ah - will try Swerve. I've never had an issue with non-dissolving, but am interested in seeing the difference in taste. Maybe with Swerve I wouldn't need to balance the flavor w/ Stevia and Splenda ...

It's not perfect. In some applications, like chocolate whipped cream, I still end up mixing Swerve with Stevia. But when I bake stuff, like say cheesecake, I like the taste just fine using only Swerve.

I just made another batch today. Thank you so much for this recipe! I like the taste of Stevia better than the Erythritol so I use it.
