Try Walmart, they have a box of both of them, located with the flours. Somehow I ended up with 3 boxes, and that's alot of flax seeds.

South Africa where alimayet lives may not have Walmart stores, or very few if they're allowed at all.

If you have health-food or vitamin stores near you, they may stock flaxseed and flaxseed meal, as well.

Here in the US, most larger supermarkets have started to carry it.

I make this bread, smear it with cream cheese, and pour Walden's 0 carb blueberry syrup on it...oh, man it's good.

I make it every day for lunch and use butter and Walden's pancake syrup on it. I like it best with almond flour only and coconut oil for the cheese. It is as close to a real pancake that you can get on LCHF.

How do you make it with almond flour and coconut oil?

I replace the flaxseed meal with the same amount of almond flour.

Instead of the grated cheese, I use 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.

The higher the egg to flour ratio, the chewier the "bread" which makes it close to a sourdough pancake in texture.

I haven't tried coconut flour in anything yet. I see it on the store shelf next to the almond flour and flaxseed meal, though. One of these days...
