Chili Bake with Black Soy Beans
So I bought all these cans of Black Soy Beans and trying to come with some recipes for them I made this last night, a winner and a keeper.
2 lbs ground meat
1 can Black Soy Beans
Plubono pepper sliced
Green pepper sliced
Large jar of LC pasta sauce
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese shreds
1 cup of mazz cheese shreds
1/2 cube of cream cheese
I browned the meat and drained the fat, don't like HB fat for some reason. I then added 1/2 stick of butter and everything else but the pasta sauce and cheeses. Waited till all was pearled then added the cream cheese, pasta sauce and mixed well. I took the Parmesan cheese and mixed it into the dish and layered the mazz cheese on top, baked at 350 till it was golden brown. It was really good.
If you haven't seen Black Soy Beans yet here is the nutritional info. I may try a mashed bean dish with bacon and cheese next time.
Be careful with cooking times and mashing, Marty! Once they are re-heated, they spike me ... (of course, it IS ME, but I can eat them barely warmed thru!).
