Default New Flatbread Tortilla

I know we all are always looking for NEW menu options....

My wife found a 'New' Flatbread that looks and feels like an oversized Tortilla (10 1/2" X 7")! She found it at a local Kroger store here in KC, Missouri. They give a website to find a store, flatoutbread.com...

The brand name is called 'Flatout' light Flatbread. One Flatbread (53g) contains the follow Nutrition listed on the package:

Calories 90
Fat 1.5g
Cholesterol 0
Sodium 250mg
Total Carbs 14g
Dietary Fiber 8g
Sugars 0
Protein 9g

They taste very good! My wife and I eat half of one with breakfast toasted in the oven with cheese....Yum Yum....the possibilities are endless....how about a real Taco for lunch. These can be a meal or a snack...

This is my first real 'bread-like' food I have found that tastes normal and can be used for everything I like with bread....

Check it out!

Yes....here is a partial list of ingredients...I could not read what was after spices as the label ink is smeared...but being last on the list, the other items have to be very low %'s....

Flatout Flatbread Ingredients:

Water, Whole wheat flour, Vital wheat germ, Oat fiber, Enriched wheat flour, (Wheat flour, niacin, Reduced iron, Thiamin mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic acid) Contains 2% or less of Soybean oil, Maltitol, Spices, etc……

Looks like bad for diabetics yet 1/2 a piece works for my meter at 1 and 2 hrs....but I know many here are gluten intolerant!
