ouch! I'm going to have to start counter the carbs from an onion.
For sure. Onions are rather high in carbs, and the more you cook them, the more sugars are released. For me, onions are for flavor only. (Oh, for the days of piles of grilled onions..... sigh! )
a cup of my chunky salad is 54 calories and onion is one of the 8 ingredients, but damn! it looks like i have to revisit my weekend breakfasts
