I use Sugar Free Riccola, the Lemon ones. They work pretty well. Fortunately with the head cold, I did not have much coughing. I was surprised (but thankful) that it did not progress to respiratory. It was all up in my head, sinuses, ears, nose. I had very little coughing, even after it moved out of my head. I swear, I still think it had something to do with the antibiotics I was on.

Me, too

Naynay - having suffered from allergic reaction to an antibiotic and mistaking them for the progress of the infection (high fever - who'd of thought! oh, and a lung congestion) I agree with you that the sinus stuff could very well have been the antibiotic.
