Question Type 1 with Addison's disease symptoms

I have been very sick since February of this year. Insulin adjustments don't change a thing my bg drops for no apparent reason doctors don't seem to know, but all of my symptoms keep leading back to Addison's disease. I am also dx Graves' disease but that all checks out fine. Finding information seems scarce for joining the 3 dx. Any suggestions? Lows reading 20s & 30s.....

Hi Jen,

Please jump over to the Introductions section and tell us more about yourself: when were you DXd? What type of diabetes do you have? Tell us about the medications you are on. Do you follow an eating and/or exercise plan? How often do you test your BG? Tell us about your Graves disease and what happened in February when things changed. Have you seen or do you suspect any pattern to those BG hypos?

I don't know anything about Addison's. But I know we need a larger context to understand what is happening.

Please accept my sympathies. It sounds like you are living a nightmare.

Jen, please look into Autoimmune Polyendocrine Syndromes. There are 3, and yours appears to Type 1 or 2. If your doctor is not familiar with these, get another doctor, too!

I am sorry you have been sick, and I hope you can find some effective therapy!
