I'm still fighting the infection on a lower scale but still dealing with it. My finger dosn't resemble a Slim Jim meat snack as much...

You're absolutely right on this point.

However the issue for us is that our immune system is compromised and as a result, things like sepsis will hit us harder than other folk.

So, if in doubt, check it out!

Well Thought I'd update a bit...

It's been almost 2 months since I was bitten. And all seems well, the site on my finger is still numb,with the center a bit sesitive still.

However my wife and children are a bit embarrassed to be seen out in the front yard with me. For some unknown reason, everytime I'm out in the lawn and a car drives by I jump the fence and chase after it

We did have that issue with our dog, Alys - only in her case it was sheep.

We had to chain her up when left alone in the garden until she got the message. I've got a nice spare chain now? Shall I send it over?

Glad things are getting better. I don't blame the wife and kids however.
