I'll spin around in the kitchen. Looking one place and then another. Looking for something. . .

Then I test!

Usually, I'm approaching 70 and I down 5 oz of juice. Or, a sleeve of, "Smarties" our low blood glucose sugar of choice!

Never felt a thing when I was 305 BG, but definitely feel shaky when it drops below 80.. Not on any meds for diabetes, still doing the diet.

Guaranteed signs of low BG - right hand shakes and I lose the ability to speak. The words are formed in my head but I can't actually say them. Means I need to keep on top of lows cause if it goes too long I can't ask for help. Luckily my family spots my low BG often before I do. They can somehow just look at me and tell something isn't right.

Highs are less obvious - maybe sweating, fight or flight feelings, jittery, ... but don't really start until over 200+
