Default tired all the time

Does anybody have any good safe remedies for fatigue. I have tried loads of the obvious things and I am now getting really frustrated with not having the energy to do anything!

Do you have any indication of the cause of your tiredness? Could it be diet, pain from your neuropathy, lack of sleep for some other reason, shift work?

If your diabetes is relatively uncontrolled - you will be very tired at times.

But, as AnnC writes, there could be numerous causes - we need more information to suggest some likely possibilities.

Fatigue could be caused by many things. Proably the best thing is discuss this with your doctor. What type of meds are you on? Sometimes interactions of meds may cause fatigue. Also uncontrolled high bgs or too much insulin production may cause fatigue.

For me the magic pill what not one thing but a combo of things.

I needed to walk each day, get my sugars very steady, go on low carb, take B12 and D and now on metformin as well. That combination has about 50 to 60% of my old energy back and hell I'll take whatever I can get. I was so frustrated with the tiredness.
