I had this test done and was given the results but no explanation. Now I am worried absolutely sick and my next appointment with the Endo is not for 3 months. What did I do wrong anyway?

What WERE your creatinine numbers, and what was your GFR?

These are my numbers and sorry, but I must be so confused I can't see straight. I don't see the words that you've mentioned anywhere.

Component Your Value Standard Range Units
MICROALBUMIN 80 <20 MG/L
UA MICRO CREATININE 100 10-300 MG/DL
ALB/CREAT RATIO 30-300 <30 MG/G

All I know is, your ratio indicates no kidney disease.

My #'s are a bit confusing too...

Creatinine ref range=[0.40-1.40 mg/dL] my results=0.64
GFR " = [>60] " = 93
Microalbumin " = [0-30] " = 3f (not sure about "f ")

It seems like there's such a difference in the ranges indicating "healthy".

jwags, just returning to this topic:

Yes, low creatinine indicates that your kidneys are filtering well.

BUT, my daughter with mito dysfunction is now on CREATINE supplements, 3g per day, which is converted to creatinine in the stomach ... it is an amino acid which helps build muscle mass, is used by a lot of power lifters, etc., but also is used in mito dz (and for the same reason) -- to boost mitochondrial OXPHOS -- cell respiration, in muscle and potentially brain.

To my mind, ALB/CREAT RATIO 30-300 <30 MG/G , is nonsense, it bears no relationship to the data.

And MICROALBUMIN 80 <20 MG/L says to me that the urine ALBUMIN is 4 times greater than it should be.

So recheck with your doctor! I keep getting ALB/CREAT RATIO = 80 but I could be wrong.

My apologies to the OP for hi-jacking the thread. Will try not to let it happen again.
