Default I am back lol

don't know where to post my question so I will do it here..

Doc has me on Victoza, I fought it like crazy. I was deathly afraid of the stuff. My DP was so bad ,has been since day 1 of DX. 250+.Come's down after a while but my ## jump all over the place.

Had to slack off High fat too. No salt or low salt. After a few months my BP came down to within normal range. My cholesterol dropped like a rock. Almost below normal lol
My a1c jumped to 8.

Can not deal with low fat mayo or margarine.

I have been on victoza about 1 month now.No side effects. Except one big one.

LOW's.... I have them like crazy now.DP is gone. My morning # are at 100 or below.
When I take my dose 1.2 v,my # drops fast.I mean for me a 80/75 makes have the shakes & sweats . I have to be on the ball with something to eat.

I still take glip/metf/lantus.

First time in years that I have bought popsicles.

I am at the point I am not taking the V everyday due to my low.s.

115 this am,took my V,came right down to 78. Fast...Had a cherry half popsicle with my coffee

so here I sit afraid to even drive my car to the store.

Barb..

Have you considered dropping the glip, instead of the victoza?

I HATED being on an SU and the lows were ... violent!

Wait -- you are on Lantus, glip AND Victoza? Holy moly. I somehow overlooked the Lantus. Still ... SU's can hasten beta cell demise!
