Default What Are Your Post Meal BG Targets?

Just wondering what are other people's post meal BG targets and times?

My doctor said less than 150 after 2 hours but I have been shooting for less than 140 after 1 hour.

My target is to try to be below 140 at all times, and would prefer to be under 120.

I think I am lucky I caught it early. I have been very vigilant in my diet and my post meal target is always trying to be under 100. Never more that 120

Here are some good starting points to read

Under 120, but I won't freak out if it's up to 130. Just try to do better next meal.

Never more than 120! I do not trust my meter/strips to be 100% some can vary as much20%. If my meter/strips were 100% accurate, 140 max would be ok!
As far as timing, I only test now, after a meal, if I have eaten something that I am not sure how it will impact my blood sugar(BS)...then I test 1 hour after my fist bite, then again at 2hrs, and if my BS has not began to go down, I will test again at 3hrs. and if I go over 120 at any time....that food will be on my no, no list!

I have had problems since I got sick in early January. My current goal is under 150 after 2 hours. I've been meeting that now about 70% of the time. I still have an ear infection. It seems any infection makes my numbers completely whacky and my goal is just to try to stay under 200 and over 80 at this point. Not been easy - I spent a lot of time in the 200s!
