Default Insulin in a Patch (not yet available)

I came across this interesting article. It describes a new invention where a patch is used to maintain blood sugar levels. When your blood sugar reaches a certain level, the patch 'injects' insulin into your bloodstream. More complex than that obviously - you'll just have to read the article.

Read article. A few questions i have would be:

1. Can glucose levels be set at any level such as 110, 140, 180... before insulin is injected.

2. How much insulin is injected and can that be set to various levels as well ie: 1 unit, 2 units.....or part of one unit?

3. Are blood glucose levels measure by patch using interstitial fluid or ones blood?

4. How important is the cleanliness and evidence of sweat of ones skin where the patch (100 micro needles) and its sensors are placed in your skin?

5. Does environmental factors matter on accuracy of glucose readings? Water resistant?

And how about using sensors placed under the skin such as with micro needles to inject glucose into the blood stream if ones blood sugar goes low such as below glucose of less than 70? Perhaps 2 patches can be used for both elevated and low glucose levels.

did anybody see the tattoo ink that changes color depending on your physical condition? In my imagination, there will be some tattoo ink that will go color for low and for high? Heck, I'll get a tattoo!
