Default Slightly elevated fasting BS

In past 1 1/2 years, I have been taking Janumet (50g Januvia/1000g Metforim) twice daily and BS fasting numbers were constantly around 100-105. In the past several weeks, my fasting BS have consistently been between 120-130. Does anyone have any information that could possibly explain why after that much time it elevated about 20 points. My A1C still remains between 5.6 and 6.0.
