Default Starting.. Help?

Okay, I've done the reading and I hope I've got it... My BS has been stable at 6.2 all day without insulin. Is it normal at first to feel like your in a low- light headedness. Should I do something? Does this go away?

Lower BG can at first make you feel this way. So, too, can a sudden reduction of salt (because one isn't eating all those salty snacks).

It will pass as soon as your body resets its idea of normal BG.

In the meantime, drink some water and eat a fatty snack if you're feeling shaky.

Oh, and mega congratulations on your BG number.!

Congrats! Yes, if you aren't used to low BG, it does feel odd. As long as you aren't taking meds that would force your pancreas to produce insulin, you shouldn't go hypo though.

As others have said, as long as you aren't taking meds, it's just you're body saying "I don't like this new level I want to be back where I was." Do a quick google for false hypo. It may help put you at ease.
