Default Lisinopril and BG drop?

My doc recently put me on Lisinopril due to some remaining sugar in my urine (it's been improving since I was diagnosed in the fall and got healthier). I've noticed that my BG is lower since taking it and I've been experiencing some relatively low numbers more often. My BG hasn't dropped below 70, but I'm usually very tightly between 90-110, so the "false" hypos aren't very pleasant.
I'm also on a low dose of Metformin and I read somewhere that this combination sometimes reduced BG. Does anyone have any experience with Lisinopril or the Metformin/Lisinopril combination?

Lisinopril is not a diabetes medication. It is for reducing blood pressure. It generally will not affect blood glucose levels with Metformin.

I take lisinopril with my met. I was told it helps protect my kidneys, it does nothing for BG.
