... a son of a gun, particularly as the last of it goes in. Other times it doesn't hurt at all.

Still kinda new at it.

Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Try pinch up some flesh between fingers and injecting into it. Push insulin in slowly so your body can adjust as it enters. These tips work for some people. Having the insulin at room temperature can help too. Some insulins can sting more when cold.

I know it sound funny but size 8 hurt less than size 6. I found out that size 6 burns a lot but size 8 us better. I know it sound it is bigger but only 2 mm longer which has no effect on the pain.

mine hurt even when i pinch and sometimes it takes a minute than it start stinging.I dont have any suggestions iam new at lantus myself.

Sometimes reusing needles can cause an injection to hurt. I have found that since I have been rotating needles out it hurts much much less.

when i used to use it i always used to get a after burn.
