I haven't been recording my ratios of fat, carbs and protein but from memory reading this forum I have noticed good ratios are 80, 10, 10.

I recorded what I ate yesterday and came up with this:

You have used 1174 out of your net daily budget of 1200 calories and have 26 calories remaining. 80% of the calories are from fat, 14% from protein, 7% from carbs and 0% from alcohol.

19.5g of carbs.

Yesterday wasn't what I thought was a good LCHF day because I was incredibly busy and didn't put much thought into what I was eating. I had a chicken salad, chicken and asian greens, coffee with cream (2) and my yummy choc blueberries 'ice cream'.

Not bad at all

PS What's with the percentages adding up to 101? I'm not good with maths but that's a little weird. lol

Shanny, foxl, tish and 1 others like this.

Hi Freyagirl *waves*

I use Calorie King Australia.

I was so pleased I was doing okay even though I don't quite understand the 'science' of it all, I had to share it.

It's a minor point but it annoys neatness nuts like me too and the explanation is simple.

It depends on where the program does its rounding off. For example, lets say it does two calculations. One returns 45.4 and the other 45.2. Individually rounded, you get 45 and 45 for a total of 90. Do the total first and you get 90.6 - which rounds off to 91.

Thanks John!

I thought it may have something to do with rounding up the numbers. Makes sense now.
