Oh I see where I could be going wrong with the HWC. I've been using it as my main fat source.

Not necessarily wrong with the HWC. Just make sure you account for the trace carbs. Check the label and if it says "0", you can figure it has 0.5g per serving.

DLC, as a friendly tip, I started to measure my HWC because I do use a lot of it. That way, I know where I stand with the carbs from it.

I've just checked Calorie King. The HWC I use has 1.9 carbs in 2 tablespoons.

DLC try Gippsland Dairy Pure Double Cream. It has 17.1g fat and 0.6g carbs in 2 tablespoons. I count the carbs as 1g. This is the one I use and it is thick and delicious.

I've been buying the Coles brand 35% (14.8 per 2 tablespoons) fat cream Freya. next time I'll buy the Gippsland cream - anything to increase my fats is a good thing!

Oh got a number wrong again ...

I've just checked Calorie King. The HWC I use has 1.9 carbs in 2 tablespoons.

It's 0.9 carbs per 2 tablespoons and 14.8 fat.

So the Gippsland Cream has less carbs and more fat.

Now I need an aspirin and a good lay down lol

See? The 0.9 is right in line with the 0.5g per tablespoon.

So just remember the number of tablespoons you're using figure it's 0.5g carbs for each one and you should be good for figuring out the hidden carbs.

You lost me from "see?" lol

But I'm a resourceful kind of 'number challenged' person and googled fat bombs without CO and have just whipped up some caramelised butter and cream fat bombs. They are in the freezer now. One a day should raise my fats quota. No idea how much butter and cream (roughly 1:1) I used but made enough to make 6 mini disc shapes.
