Default cant win with my #s

a year ago my #s were all out of sight--BP/ BG chlestrol

so with the help of meds I got BP down to low to mid 100s over 65/71 I was actually proud of this #!!!!

this last week Ive started testing the BG and now my BP is going up

130s to 140s over 75/80

BG hasnt been to bad--Im still experimenting to see what I can eat
besides nut berries and bunny food

weight too has been creeping up--I gained 3 lbs since my last dr app
the last week of July

Im cutting back again on what Im eating but its not working anymore

I cant cope anymore with all these #s issues--Im trying so hard and nothing is working--Im back to feeling cranky and miserable--just when things are starting to settle down a bit

any idea on why the BP would go up with testing BG--

actually Im thinking its because Im testing as the time is getting closer to test I can feel my heart racing!!!

anyway to get this to stop

please help--I can feel myself breaking down!!! again

thanks to one and all
Penney

He's right, Penney . . . stress affects both BG and BP.

I don't have a bp problem but I know stress has a hand in our bg as they have said. The one thing for me is to fight each battle on its own merits. I do not worry about today because of what happened yesterday. Each day is a new battle.

And no You cant "win" drinking regular soda.

You are Diabetic, if you want to win with your BG you have to make changes.
DONT DRINK REG SODA Why do you do that? Get the diet soda. a 20 oz soda has 27 carbs and they are FAST acting carbs.

I see you did not measure your BG 1 hour after you Applebys.

The first thing you need to do is not get caught up in the numbers game. They are just numbers not to determine winning or loosing but to be used as guidance more like road signs. They sare better used to help you reach your destination and not in telling you what will happen if you don't straighten up. So every time you test just look at the numbers as a guide post to help you make the right turns. There is no winning just a long game without an end so use your numbers to your advantage.

I drink regular soda since I cant stand the taste of diet--it leaves a

bad after taste I know not a good reason but.....

Im alittle confused as to why some people here say Im diabetic--

I had one high (7.1 a1c) and it wasnt even all that high isnt normal

6.5 or so there has to be more to being a diabetic then 1 higher then normal test.

and no Im not in denial since Ive been experimenting with testing

I have been able to handled soda and other treats not as much as a year ago--it was nothing for me to eat 6 cookies at one time!!!!

and 2 or 3 sodas a day!!!!

thanks for all the advice tips sholders to lean on and concerns

I really do appreciate it

take care all
