Default New meter for smartphone

Have any of you guys seen this new meter yet? It connects to your smartphone and tracks all your readings.

Apparently the strips are low cost too at $12.50 for 50, but I don't see that on their website, only that someone posted it on Facebook. I hope that's not just an introductory price to suck you in.

I think I might look into this.

What the heck, I'm in for one. For 30 bucks I'll give it a try. I'll post here once I get it and get some results. Ships in a week, and that says up to 10 days to get here.

Were you able to verify how much the strips cost?

I almost got it and then I read the reviews for the app. Maybe they need more time to work the kinks out.

Well, I think you are the smart one here by choosing to wait.

I got the device and strips a little quicker than I expected. It's a bust on my android device, and it only worked one time with my iphone. The ap is appealing but you have to be perfect, there is no edit function or delete function. Every time I plug it in it keeps telling me it's not connected. The one time I was able to get a measurement it read 25 points higher than my true track meter using the same drop of blood. Looks like it's going into storage for a while until they offer updates for the ap or more available phones to use it with.

Maybe I'm old school... I simply enter the morning read into an Excel spreadsheet every day.

I do that too but I use Google sheets so I can always access it.
