Never did get a lipid panel done in less than 3 months, but Dr. Davis says that TGs can be impacted within a week (like Shanny said). However, HDL can take something like 6 months to change.

A1c ~ 5.4
Follow LC/HF diet since Aug 2010
Control only with diet/exercise. No meds.

So sorry for your loss. My current GP told me that the TGs can be impacted as recently as two weeks before the blood draw. Be kind to yourself, you have been through a lot of stress. Thinking of you.
